An accident can happen at any time in New York City, especially since the roads are consumed with traffic. Since the roads are usually congested, one must be aware of negligence on the part of other motorists, such as texting and driving and being under the influence. A New York man recently lost his life after being involved in a two-vehicle auto accident.

The collision took place in the early morning hours on a recent Tuesday. According to reports, the driver of a Toyota sedan was traveling through an intersection at the time of the accident. Reportedly, the driver of an Infiniti sedan collided head-on with the Toyota, which resulted in tragedy. Medics arrived at the scene of the crash and transported the driver of the Toyota to the hospital for treatment.

Tragically, the driver of the Toyota was later declared dead as a result of his injuries. The driver of the Infiniti reportedly suffered injuries that have not been specified. Authorities arrested the driver at the hospital, but it is not known what he was charged with.

An auto accident can cause a multitude of physical and financial burdens for victims. Deadly accidents can put families in complete devastation when they learn their loved one has been taken from them. The family of the deceased driver may have legal recourse to file a wrongful death claim against the driver of the Infiniti. Their suit may prove successful in a New York civil courtroom if evidence deems the other driver was negligent in a way that caused the death to occur.
